On the other hand, if you carry more body fat, sometimes classified as an “endomorph,” you have a slower metabolism and may gain weight more easily. When aiming for muscle growth, you’ll still need to ensure adequate protein intake and resistance training. The challenge here is finding the balance between eating enough to support muscle growth while not overeating to the point of further fat accumulation.
